veteran Coastal linebacker with a coach’s-eye edge
Brett Johnson’s Coastal Carolina profile points to a linebacker who wins with smarts, reliability, and physicality more than flash: he has been recognized for leadership, preparation, and academic excellence, and earlier in his career he ranked second in the league in total tackles while leading Sun Belt play in tackles in 2014. That kind of “do the dirty work” defender can fit a team that wants a steady communicator in the middle, though the available public info is older and doesn’t show current 2026 game production.
