crafty, high-IQ lead guard with two-way bite
In the 2019-20 season, Malachi Flynn was the engine of San Diego State’s 30-2 team, averaging 17.6 points, 5.1 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 1.8 steals while shooting .857 from the line and .373 from three[2][1]. What makes him pop isn’t just the box score: he’s a relentless pick-and-roll creator, a poised shot-maker with good pace and footwork, and a competitive defender who brings real pressure at the point of attack[6][10]. If your team wants a guard who can organize, score, and compete on both ends without needing the spotlight, Flynn fits the bill nicely[6][11].
