Georgios Tsalmpouris was a towering Iowa State project with intriguing size but limited college production
In the 2014-15 season, the 7-foot-1 Georgios Tsalmpouris appeared in 8 games for Iowa State and averaged 1.4 points and 0.8 rebounds in 4.4 minutes, but his real value was always the upside: a rare seven-footer with perimeter touch, international pedigree, and enough feel to interest pro teams after one year. Iowa State fans should care because he was a classic high-ceiling depth piece—more long-term development bet than instant-impact rotation big.
