Cal State Northridge’s Senior RHP with Elite Reliever Intensity and 9 Ks in 17.1 IP
Cody Carson, Cal State Northridge’s senior right-handed pitcher, delivered a high-intensity senior season as a 16-appearance reliever, finishing with 9 strikeouts and a 7.27 ERA over 17.1 innings[3]. His differentiator isn’t just stats—it’s his relentless bullpen mentality, 6’0”/185lb frame, and a 2024 summer stint in Greeneville where he posted 3 wins and 15 Ks in 24.1 IP[2]. Carson’s personality is defined by grit and adaptability, making him a perfect fit for teams needing a reliable, battle-tested reliever who thrives under pressure. While his ERA reflects early struggles, his strikeout rate and summer success signal untapped upside for scouts seeking intensity over polish[2][3].
