Calvin Gregory brings lefty relief bite and quick-ascending upside
In the 2026 season, Oregon State’s Calvin Gregory showed a compact left-handed relief profile, appearing in four games and posting a 3.38 ERA across 2 2/3 innings with three strikeouts and just one hit allowed. He’s a good fit for teams that value strike-throwing, deception, and developmental upside: a 5-10, L/L freshman from Lakeridge with room to add strength, a reported work-first approach, and a stated interest in physical therapy. The ceiling is about projection and feel rather than headline numbers right now, but the arm is clearly worth watching.
