Nicole Garbin was a Ducks legend in soccer, not a current Oregon basketball guard
Nicole Garbin is not a current Oregon Ducks basketball player; available Oregon records show her as a former Ducks soccer star who briefly played basketball in 2007 after a standout soccer career. In her Oregon soccer peak, she was an explosive, high-impact scorer and creator, finishing with 34 goals and 83 points in 2001-06-era career totals and earning Pac-10 Player of the Year honors in 2006. She also missed seasons with knee injuries, so the story is one of talent plus resilience. If you’re looking for a live basketball fit, this is the wrong Nicole Garbin.
