Ervin Alston brings linebacker size and proven physicality to UT Martin
Alston is a **6-foot-2, 215-pound linebacker** with a build that fits the run-stopping, gap-fitting profile coaches want in the middle of a defense. His background includes time at UAB and a high-school pedigree out of Orange Park, Florida, but the main appeal is his rugged linebacker frame and clear fit as a physical, downhill defender. Publicly available current production data for UT Martin is limited, so the best read is that he projects as a toughness-first addition who can help if your defense values size, contact balance, and willingness to play inside the box.
