Chase Mummau is a Virginia Tech QB with a long-term developmental profile
Mummau’s Virginia Tech profile shows only a brief college game sample—most notably a 22-yard completion on a trick play in the 2017 Camping World Bowl—so there isn’t enough public data to label him as a current on-field producer, but his value lies in depth, preparation, and understanding the Hokies’ system rather than headline stats. His differentiator is experience within the program and a football IQ background that can help in meeting rooms and practice settings, though his lack of documented passing volume means he is best viewed as a developmental or roster-depth fit rather than an immediate impact quarterback.
