High-upside Texas State edge with a disruptive résumé
Landon Beck brings a proven knack for chaos off the edge: Texas State lists him as a defensive end, and his high school résumé included 143 tackles, 78 tackles for loss, 32 sacks, and 12 forced fumbles, which screams active hands and backfield violence. He was rated a two-star recruit by Rivals, 247Sports, and Scout, so the appeal here is less raw star power and more sturdy production, motor, and fit for a defense that wants edge pressure. If you need a hard-nosed, disruptive front-seven piece, he’s the kind of player worth a closer look.
