Jack Campbell is Iowa’s prototype linebacker: elite production, elite leadership
Jack Campbell was the tone-setting centerpiece of Iowa’s defense, finishing his final college season with 128 tackles and earning unanimous All-American and Butkus Award honors in 2022. What made him special wasn’t just the stat line—it was his size, range, and command of the defense, plus a reputation for relentless consistency and leadership that coaches and teammates trusted. He fits best for teams that value a high-IQ, downhill linebacker who can diagnose quickly, finish plays, and raise the standard of the whole unit.
