Slade Hodges is a depth-piece receiver with Texas roots and early production
Hodges has already flashed as a Texas Tech wideout, posting 6 catches for 46 yards and a touchdown in his career, which suggests a player who can make the most of limited opportunities[2]. Texas Tech’s roster bio points to a proven high-school résumé in Texas—three-time all-district, part of a 31-6 run, and a state runner-up finish—which usually signals competitive toughness and winning habits[3]. He looks like a fit for a program that values local toughness, work ethic, and reliability over pure flash.
