Donnie Tillman gives New Mexico State a rugged, efficient frontcourt veteran
In the 2026 season, Donnie Tillman has been a steady two-way forward for the Aggies, averaging 9.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.4 assists while shooting 43.6% from the field.[1][6] The appeal is the blend: a 6-foot-7, 225-pound veteran who can score inside, rebound, make a few plays for others, and bring the kind of mature, low-drama toughness that wins minutes in conference play.[1][2][6] He has also proven he can be a high-end college contributor before, including a 2020-21 season where he averaged 11.6 points and 5.6 rebounds and earned All-WAC recognition.[6][14]
