Reliable leg, field-position weapon for Jackson State
Lane McGregor has been a steady punter for Jackson State, with his best documented college stretch coming in 2021 when he averaged 34.8 yards on 32 punts and pinned nine inside the 20, then followed with 37.3 yards per punt in spring 2021, showing he can help win the hidden-yardage battle. He looks like a no-drama special-teams piece: compact, experienced, and trusted to flip field position rather than chase highlight reels. If a team wants consistency, hang-time style control, and a veteran who understands leverage, McGregor is a sensible fit.
