steady, versatile Blue Raider wing with proven college production
Darren Avery brings classic 2000s Blue Raider grit: a 6-4 G/F who was a junior at Middle Tennessee and logged the kind of all-around role that coaches trust, including appearing in all 32 games and averaging 14.4 points and 4.0 rebounds in the 2008-09 season. His value is versatility and toughness—he can play on the wing, mix it up physically, and give a team reliable two-way minutes without needing the offense built around him. If you want a dependable, mature glue guy rather than a flashy volume scorer, Avery fits.
