Georgetown’s reliable two-way guard and proven scorer
Katie Smrcka-Duffy is a high-level Georgetown guard who has shown she can carry an offense, including a 36-point outburst and a 19-point game as a lead scorer for the Hoyas.[3][1] The profile that stands out is her scoring punch plus disruptive defense—she also piled up steals and is listed among Georgetown’s career leaders, with 1,671 points for the Hoyas and three All-Big East selections.[3][2] For a team, that combination suggests a seasoned, productive guard who can create offense, pressure the ball, and bring veteran-level credibility.
