Tony Johnson brings old-school linebacker toughness and proven production to Louisiana Tech
Tony Johnson has the profile of a physical, dependable inside linebacker: at Louisiana Tech, he showed he could handle multi-role duty, playing in all 12 games with 23 tackles while splitting time between linebacker and fullback in 2013, and his earlier résumé includes leading Southwest Mississippi CC in tackles with 3.5 sacks and All-State honors. He looks like a fit for teams that value downhill run defense, effort, and versatility more than flash—though the publicly available results here are dated, so his current form and injury status are not clear from these sources.
