Sacred Heart’s Jack Birtwell brings a power-righty profile with college experience and strikeout bite
Jack Birtwell is a 6-foot, 205-pound right-handed pitcher who transferred to Sacred Heart after a 2025 season at Gordon in which he logged 47 strikeouts in 46.2 innings and made 10 starts across 12 appearances. That kind of workload suggests a starter’s mindset, not just bullpen filler, and his frame hints at durability and sinker-slider upside. He also had a summer with the Vermont Lake Monsters, which adds useful competitive reps. The biggest reason to care: he looks like a polished, attack-the-zone arm with room to grow.
