Michael Obacha brings efficient frontcourt production and steady two-way value for App State
Obacha has been a useful App State forward because he combines solid rebounding with dependable scoring touch and gives the Mountaineers a physical, active presence on the interior. In the 2025-26 season, App State’s team stats show the Mountaineers getting strong frontcourt production overall, and Obacha’s roster notes point to a player who has worked through early free-throw inconsistency to become more reliable late in games. He’s a fit for teams that want toughness, effort, and role-player versatility rather than high-usage shot creation.
