veteran Lamar anchor with proven line-leading pedigree
Chance McCormack is a seasoned offensive lineman whose calling card is reliability, physicality, and leadership in the trenches. Publicly available profile info ties him to a strong career arc at Lamar after JUCO success, and one retrospective source says he was a hardworking, intelligent, dominant presence who anchored an offense that finished among the nation’s best. For a team, that translates to a smart, battle-tested interior line fit rather than a flashy stat-sheet player—exactly the kind of glue guy who makes everyone around him better.
