veteran NIU tight end with big-blocking value and deep program roots
In the 2018 season, Dale Brown was NIU’s blocking-first tight end, playing in all 14 games and starting one in multiple-TE packages while helping spring Tre Harbison’s 1,000-yard rushing year. He’s not a volume target, but he brings size, veteran experience, and line-of-scrimmage toughness after even shifting from OL back to TE because NIU needed him. If your team wants a rugged, assignment-sound in-line TE who can help the run game, Brown fits the mold; if you need a pass-game mismatch, he’s more grinder than glamour.
