VMI’s Chris Leach: Experienced interior anchor with real staying power
Chris Leach is a veteran VMI offensive lineman listed at center/offensive lineman, and his value is the classic big-man gold: experience, positional flexibility, and trench durability. VMI’s roster history shows him as a 6-foot-3, 285-pound redshirt senior in the 2009-10 era, which underscores the profile of a seasoned interior blocker rather than a splashy stat-line player. For a team needing a steady center who can handle the dirty work, Leach reads like a reliability-first fit—low glam, high assignment discipline, and the kind of body that helps an offense keep its lunch money.
