In the 2022 season, Joseph Shell was a dependable Brown defensive back who appeared in all 10 games, finished fourth on the team with 36 tackles, and added four pass breakups plus a tackle for loss. His calling card is versatility: he can tackle, disrupt throws, and flash real ball skills, with a 71-yard fumble return touchdown in 2021 showing his knack for turning chaos into points.
