Devin Scates is a veteran Chattanooga defensive lineman with proven toughness
In the most recent available Chattanooga profile, Devin Scates is listed as a 6-foot-2, 260-pound defensive lineman from Memphis and Westwood HS, and he has long been viewed as a sturdy, physical front-line piece rather than a flashy stat-stuffer[1][3]. The stat picture that is available is sparse, but his deeper value is the kind coaches love: size, experience, and reliability, with early-career production that included tackles and a sack/TFL presence in his Chattanooga tenure[1]. If a team wants a dependable trench defender who brings edge and workmanlike grit, Scates fits that mold more than the hype-machine variety[1][15].
