veteran, high-volume interior presence for West Virginia’s defensive front
Shaq Rowell was a 6-foot-4, 305-pound defensive lineman for West Virginia who delivered real interior production, finishing his Mountaineer career with 97 tackles, 6 tackles for loss, and 1 pass breakup in 35 games. His best stretch came in 2013, when he posted 47 tackles and 4 TFLs, showing he could hold up against the run and stay active from the nose. He fits teams that value size, toughness, and reliable snap-to-snap physicality over flashy sack totals.
