productive Cal linebacker with disruptive flashes and rising value
Malik Psalms has shown real disruptive ability for Cal, posting **26 tackles**, **2.0 tackles for loss**, and **1.0 sack** in the 2024 season while ESPN also lists him with **13 solo tackles**, **1 sack**, and **1 forced fumble** in career totals.[5][1] He profiles as a physical linebacker with enough size to handle interior traffic, and his takeaway/behind-the-line impact suggests he brings more than just cleanup production.[2][5] At 6-foot-1 and 200 pounds, he looks like a developmental defender who can fit a team needing toughness, chase speed, and downhill playmaking.[2]
