West Virginia CB Devan Wade is a depth-and-special-teams piece with game-day utility
Devan Wade’s value for West Virginia is tied to his versatility: in the 2024 season he played in nine games, provided depth at cornerback, and was trusted on special teams, including a season-high 17 snaps at Oklahoma with 14 coming on special teams.[1] That profile suggests a coachable, assignment-sound defender who can help a roster through effort, flexibility, and reliability rather than headline stats. For teams looking for a physical depth corner who can contribute immediately in multiple phases, Wade fits the mold of a useful, low-drama roster add.[1]
