Explosive Nebraska scorer with NBA-level shot creation
McGowens was a high-volume, high-impact Nebraska guard in the 2021-22 season, averaging 16.8 points per game and earning Big Ten Newcomer of the Year recognition after arriving as Nebraska’s first 5-star recruit. His best differentiator is shot-making: he scored 2,341 high school points and hit 41% of his 3s in prep ball, then translated that into a dynamic scoring profile with burst, length, and rim pressure. For a team, he fits as an instant offense wing/guard with pro upside, though his profile is still centered more on scoring than on steady playmaking.
