Troy DB Trevor Ford brings size, experience, and steady back-end reliability
Trevor Ford is a 6-0, 193-pound defensive back whose value at Troy has been built on steady, assignment-sound play rather than splashy stats; Troy’s roster notes show he logged nine tackles and a pass breakup in one season and five tackles in another, suggesting a role as a dependable rotational defender who can help in coverage and run support. His differentiator is his experience and physical profile, and because he has already contributed across multiple seasons, he profiles as a low-drama, coachable fit for a defense that wants consistency and toughness on the back end.
