USF Bulls' Athletic Import with Pro Potential
Melvyn Richardson, a 6-8, 235-pound power forward from Jacksonville, TX, flashed elite scoring and rebounding on USF's 2006 European Tour, averaging 19.2 points and 7.6 rebounds across five games—including a 30-point, 12-rebound double-double—before settling into modest college stats of 2.0 PPG and 2.5 RPG with 43% FG. Born in the Dominican Republic, his physical tools, international experience, and raw explosiveness make him a high-upside bench athlete ideal for teams needing versatile forwards who bring intensity and pro-level athleticism.
