steady, veteran Colorado State linebacker with proven tackling instincts
Patrick Moody brings a classic linebacker profile: reliable tackling, disciplined run fits, and enough play recognition to make him a useful tone-setter in the middle of a defense. In his 2017 season, he played in eight games and posted 18 tackles, 1.0 tackle for loss, and two quarterback hurries, with a career-high four tackles in games against Air Force and Marshall. At 6-foot-1 and around 220 pounds, he looks built for physical, assignment-sound football rather than flashy highlight hunting. If your team wants a smart, sturdy defender who can do the dirty work, Moody is the kind of grinder worth caring about.
