Carter Kelsey brings veteran depth and strikeout punch to George Mason’s bullpen
In the 2026 season, Carter Kelsey has worked as an experienced right-handed arm for George Mason, posting a 2-2 record with a 8.89 ERA and 30 strikeouts across 19 appearances, which shows real swing-and-miss ability even if the run prevention has been uneven. He’s a sturdy 6-foot-5, 220-pound graduate senior who has bounced through multiple programs, and that kind of journey usually means polish, resilience, and a team-first role. The fit is strongest for a staff needing innings, mound toughness, and a reliever who can miss bats when he’s on.
