Ekemini Essien brings low-usage, guard depth value to Houston Christian
Essien profiles as a **bench guard** who can give Houston Christian steady minutes without forcing the action, and the available game logs show a modest scoring load with occasional shot-making and some playmaking. The biggest reason to care is fit: she looks like a low-mistake, role-oriented backcourt piece rather than a volume scorer, which can help a team that needs composure and depth. Publicly available recent statistical data on her current college production is limited, so the sharper read is that her value comes more from reliability, lineup flexibility, and doing the small things than from headline-grabbing numbers.
