6-2 Forward with Elite Rebounding Instincts and Heart for North Carolina Central
Maya Jackson, a 6-2 forward for the North Carolina Central Eagles, stands out not just for her 11.3 ppg and 7.7 rebounds from high school but for her relentless intensity and emotional resilience—evident when she spoke tearfully at a campus vigil, showing deep community commitment. Her AAU background with Palmetto 76ers honed her post skills, and her 6-2 frame gives her a differentiator in the paint. No major injury history is reported, and her intensity level is consistently high. Jackson is a team-first player with strong leadership traits, making her an excellent fit for teams valuing grit, rebounding, and off-court integrity. In the 2023-24 season, she posted a .550 FG% in 15 games, proving efficiency under pressure.
