Ryan Mannelly is a depth-and-reliability piece on Penn’s defensive front
Ryan Mannelly’s Penn profile shows a versatile, multi-year roster player listed as a DL/LS who appeared in all 10 games in 2022 as the team’s starting long snapper and recorded a tackle against Lafayette, which points to dependable special-teams value more than headline-grabbing box-score production[1]. At 6-foot-3 and around 230 pounds in his senior season, he brings length and functional size, but the key differentiator is his willingness to wear multiple hats and stay available across seasons, a trait coaches usually trust when they need a steady, low-drama contributor[1].
