Grant Edwards brings strikeout utility and late-inning flexibility to West Georgia
In the 2026 season, West Georgia right-hander Grant Edwards logged 36.2 innings with 24 strikeouts and a 6.63 ERA, and his role versatility matters: he worked as both a starter and a reliever, including scoreless two-inning outings that earned praise for his pitch location and poise. He’s not a pure overpowering arm yet, but he competes, can get swings-and-misses, and has shown he can handle leverage. If you need a veteran, multiple-role pitcher with experience and some mound edge, he’s a useful fit.
