Howard FB Da'Vaun Johnson brings old-school lead-blocking value
Da'Vaun Johnson is a classic fullback profile for Howard: a physical, role-specific piece who adds short-yardage toughness and backfield versatility rather than eye-popping volume. ESPN lists him as Howard’s fullback, while Howard’s coaching bio shows the staff values him in a system that has produced all-conference running back production, suggesting he fits a ground-and-pound identity well.[6][4] His stat line is modest in available rushing data, with 61 yards and 2 touchdowns on 23 carries, so his appeal is less about raw output and more about trench work, reliability, and scheme fit.[1]
