Notre Dame's Record-Breaking Kicker with Elite Legs and Academic Pedigree
Dawson Goepferich stands out as Notre Dame's reliable placekicker, boasting a high school legacy with 14 Missouri kicking records—including a perfect 82-82 on PATs and 12 FGs capped by a 53-yarder—translating to clutch college moments like his first Irish PAT vs. South Florida. A CoSIDA Academic All-District honoree in 2019 at Brown and NFF Hampshire Honor Society member in 2020, his differentiator is poise under pressure paired with scholarly excellence, making him an ideal fit for teams valuing precision, consistency, and locker-room leaders—no injury red flags, just booming range and Ivy-to-Indy intensity.
