Anthony Montoya brings senior-guard poise and shot-making pop for La Sierra
Anthony Montoya, a junior guard for La Sierra in the 2025-26 season, looks like a steady, scoring-minded backcourt piece with some real two-way juice. In the 2024-25 season, he flashed range and activity in big matchups, including 14 points and 3 steals against Cal State Fullerton, plus a 36-34 lead-building three against CSUN; that combo hints at a player who can heat up, defend, and make timely plays[2][6][11]. He also posted 5 points and 4 assists against Cal State Bakersfield, suggesting he can handle the ball and create just enough to keep an offense moving[10].
