Myles Burkett brings proven production and dual-threat polish to EKU’s QB room
Burkett is a former three-star quarterback who has already shown he can win at multiple levels, most notably leading Franklin to a 14-0 state championship season in 2021 with 3,427 passing yards, 36 passing touchdowns and 335 rushing yards, then being named Eastern Kentucky’s starter for 2025 after transfers to Wisconsin and Albany. His value is that he combines efficient pocket passing with functional mobility, plus the poise of a quarterback who has handled pressure and program changes. He looks like a fit for a team that wants a seasoned, experienced playmaker rather than a pure project.
