Brian Lillis was Albany’s all-around engine and a two-way tone-setter
In the 2007-08 season, Brian Lillis stood out as a rare guard/wing who led Albany in scoring, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks, earning first-team All-America East honors and a spot on the all-defensive team. His value goes beyond box-score numbers: he was a high-motor, do-everything presence who could attack for big scoring nights, create for teammates, and disrupt opponents defensively. If you want a versatile, competitive player who impacts winning on both ends, Lillis fits the profile of a centerpiece rather than a specialist.
