Jaiden McCoy brings veteran frontcourt size, local roots, and battle-tested toughness to Tennessee
A 6-3 Knoxville native, Jaiden McCoy’s value for the Lady Vols has been in her interior size, rebounding, and efficient post play—she averaged 10.9 points and 6.1 rebounds on 57.1% shooting in her 2018-19 junior-college season, then gave Tennessee a steady frontcourt option before injuries disrupted her run. In Tennessee’s system, her appeal is the combination of local familiarity, physicality, and a no-nonsense low-post presence that can help a team when it needs adult supervision in the paint.
