Fairfield outfielder Payten Wawruck brings clutch-contact upside and reliable roster value
Payten Wawruck is a depth-minded Fairfield outfielder whose value comes from timely contact and situational production rather than volume stats; in 2025 he appeared in 13 games with three starts, reached base with a hit and a run scored at Hofstra, and earned MAAC All-Academic recognition, which points to a dependable, coachable profile[3]. He also showed he can deliver in the moment, including a bases-clearing double noted on social media, suggesting some extra-base pop when he squares it up[1].
