Durable Morehead State righty with big-start upside and strikeout flashes
Bradley Poynter has shown real arm durability and a starter’s mentality for Morehead State, highlighted by a seven-inning complete game against Arkansas State in the 2026 season and a full workload in 2025. The numbers are a mixed bag—his 2026 season line showed a 9.69 ERA with 23 strikeouts in 56.2 innings—but his ability to take the ball, compete deep into games, and generate occasional swing-and-miss gives him value. He looks like a fit for teams wanting a tough, inning-eating right-hander who already has experience against quality competition.
