Jason Short is a disciplined, high-reliability linebacker with NFL-game experience
Jason Short’s value comes from being a steady, assignment-sound linebacker who carved out a 3-season run with the Eagles and finished with 29 career games and 14 total tackles. He was not a high-volume playmaker, but that also signals a role-player profile: dependable depth, special-teams utility, and low-maintenance execution rather than splashy production. Based on the available pro data, he fits best as a depth LB or special-teams contributor for a team that prioritizes reliability over upside.
