Nahum Horton brings veteran size and steady depth to Jacksonville State’s defensive front
In the 2026 season, Nahum Horton is a redshirt senior defensive lineman for Jacksonville State at 6-foot-3, 300 pounds, giving the Gamecocks experienced bulk inside the trenches.[2] He’s more of a reliable, physical depth piece than a headline-grabber in the stat sheet, and his long résumé at JSU suggests a player coaches trust to absorb contact, hold the point, and do the dirty work that doesn’t always show up in box scores.[1][2] If you want a sturdy, seasoned interior defender with local roots and a blue-collar profile, Horton is the kind of piece that fits a program built on toughness.[2][14]
