Jake Geis brings late-inning strikeout juice to LMU’s bullpen
Geis has shown he can miss bats in relief for LMU, striking out 29 in 21.2 innings across 23 bullpen appearances in his first season with the Lions, and he already picked up a save by closing out a 3-0 shutout in March 2026. His profile fits a team looking for a power arm with experience in high-leverage innings; the raw results have been uneven, but the swing-and-miss upside, 6'4" frame, and ability to work multiple innings make him a useful fit for staffs that value physical relievers with upside.[1][2]
