a name to verify before projecting his New Mexico State fit
Available search results do not reliably confirm a New Mexico State Aggies defensive back profile for Darius Peterson, and the strongest match points instead to a different football player, Darius-James Peterson, listed as a quarterback with the Iowa Barnstormers. Because the identity and current college status are unclear, I would not treat him as a validated DB target yet; the key differentiator here is that he needs verification before any meaningful scouting or roster fit conclusion can be made.
