Dalton Brown is Lafayette’s 6-foot-8 lefty with real starter upside
In the 2026 season, Dalton Brown stood out as a towering 6-foot-8, 235-pound sophomore left-hander for Lafayette, a frame that immediately screams mound presence and projection. He arrived with a strong prep résumé as a four-year varsity starter, two-time First Team All-Region pick, and Georgia Freshman of the Year, which suggests a competitor who already knows how to handle responsibility. Brown’s differentiator is his size-plus-left-handed profile: that combo can be a matchup headache and gives him room to keep developing into a valuable arm for a staff looking for length, upside, and a bit of sneaky nastiness.
