a gritty, big-play Eastern Michigan QB with proven poise
In the 2012 season, Tyler Benz showed he could handle pressure and create explosives, completing 114 of 212 passes for 1,511 yards and 14 touchdowns while also delivering a 369-yard, five-TD outburst against Army. He’s the kind of quarterback who earned praise for poise against a tough defense, and that competitive edge is the differentiator: he wasn’t just steady, he could swing a game fast. If you want a quarterback who has shown toughness, command, and upside in big moments, Benz fits the bill.
