LaMiles Brooks brings proven ACC experience and downhill toughness to Georgia Tech’s secondary
In the 2024 season, LaMiles Brooks battled through injuries but still played 12 games and made seven starts at free safety, finishing with 42 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 2 pass breakups, and 2 quarterback hurries.[8] He had already shown real playmaking upside in the 2023 season, with 67 tackles, 6 pass breakups, and an interception, and evaluations from Georgia Tech coverage describe him as a consistent starter who fits best as a box safety—physical, reliable near the line, and effective at keeping plays in front of him.[4][14]
